ACTING BOOT CAMP: For Beginners
A 5-week course, suitable for first time and budding actors alike.
Spark your creativity and explore the basics of role playing, movement and
speech through theater games, improvisations and short scripts.
Confront self-consciousness and stage fright.
ACTING IN THE ZONE: Scene Study and Improvisation
Athletes describe "the zone" as a special place where performance is confident,
consistent, and flowing. You can seek this transcendent state in acting through
the fusion of scene study and improvisation. Once you have the author's words
and actions crystallized in your mind, you personalize them through a series
of challenging improvisations.
Ultimately, you return to the script with a deeper connection, ready to reach
those perfect moments of acting “in the zone," where you and the character are one.
This unique course integrates beginning and advanced technique, scene study, and
a specific application of improvisation.
